He is a key member of the Mobitel marketing team (specially corporate marketing) and never answers a call (now you know why Mobitel is successful in sales and marketing!). While all would agree of the fact that expecting a response from Asanka, if you call is a distant dream, Kanchana seem to have figured out a work around. So in the future if you call Asanka and if he doesn’t respond, please call Kanchana and he will tell you what to do. I was told that he doesn’t even respond to his wife but if Kanchana calls he forgets everything and attends to his call. Well done Kanchana, keep up the good work! But this has got his wife going mad (Many days Asanka has to sleep on the couch!)Ruwanthika is his wife’s name and is a true support to the lad. I just can’t imagine where he will be without her. They say that the true spirit of journalism is when we make sure that the truth is brought to light. The picture even though shows as if Asanka is a fitness freak, in reality, he cannot go on for more than a minute or two (both on the bed as well as in the track!). By the way, he just love’s the idea of putting his arms around his wife and is a very romantic guy for his age!
You will also notice that he has his hair cut really short. This is because he believes in "precaution being better than cure". He is preparing now itself for the hair loss that is going to hit him soon for his age!
